WHO WE ARE
Riviera Engraving & Printing
What we collect
- Personal data collected: Full name; delivery and billing address; postcode; telephone number (if provided for delivery).
- We do not collect or retain payment card details, national identifiers, email content beyond transactional messages, or other personal data unless you voluntarily provide it.
- Images provided by you for the purpose of creating your product.
Why we collect address details and our lawful basis
- Purpose: to process and fulfil orders, arrange delivery, and handle returns or exchanges.
- Lawful basis: processing is necessary for the performance of a contract with you and for our legitimate business interests in delivering goods and providing customer service.
How we use and share your address
- Use: to prepare, package and deliver your order; to contact couriers; to handle returns.
- Sharing: we share address details only with trusted third parties strictly for fulfilment (e.g., courier companies). We do not sell or rent your address to third parties. Any processor we use is required to keep your data secure and only use it for the purposes we specify.
Data retention
- Retention period: we retain address details only for as long as necessary to fulfil orders, meet legal obligations (for example, tax or accounting records), and to resolve disputes or claims. Typical retention is up to 6 years for accounting and legal purposes unless a shorter period applies; we will delete or anonymise data when no longer needed.
- Images are deleted from our system once we have fulfilled your order to your satisfaction.
Security
- We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect address data against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure, including access controls, encryption where appropriate, and staff training. We review security measures regularly.
Your rights
You have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; rectify inaccurate data; erase data where there is no lawful reason to retain it; restrict processing; and object to processing in certain circumstances. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) if you believe your rights have been breached.
Contact and updates
If you have questions, want to exercise your rights, or request deletion of your address details, contact us at [email protected]. We may update this policy from time to time; material changes will be posted on our website.
